The Power of Crystals & Pyramids

Feb 13th, 2010 | By Dee | Category: Color, Crystal Therapy

Abundant evidence exists to show that energy of form is attracted by, stored in, and emanated from model representations of the Great Pyramid. Years of investigation reveal that we are dealing with a multitude of energies, even though various researches tend to give the phenomenon a single name.

The Egyptians are perhaps best known for their use of pyramid energy to protect the dead. However, for centuries pyramid energy has also been used for healing purposes.

Pyramid vibrations affect our own auras, and it has been shown using Kirlian photography that the aura is brighter and larger after exposure to the pyramids and also Quartz crystal. The Quartz crystal can produce a force field of healing negative ions while clearing the surrounding atmosphere of positive ions.

It also tends to eliminate or cancel out the effect of radiation and radioactivity. You can surround yourself with the pyramid energy by placing the Quartz pyramid on your desk or holding it whilst Meditating.

Healing With Color Therapy

Jan 16th, 2010 | By Dee | Category: Color, Crystal Therapy

Color. We delight in a rainbow, sigh at a sunset, and luxuriate in the rich colors of our homes, clothes, and special spaces. Our eyes gravitate towards saturated color like moths to the light. No coincidence, considering the entire spectrum of colors is derived from light. And no surprise, really, that seeing, wearing or being exposed to color- whether in the form of light, pigment, or cloth- can affect us at levels we are only just beginning to understand.

Color Therapy is the use of color in a variety of ways to promote health and healing. The different colors we see in the world around us are the result of the eye perceiving light vibrating at different frequencies. Sunlight, or full-spectrum light, holds all the wavelengths of color in the visible spectrum (red, Orange, yellow, green, Blue, indigo, Violet, and magenta) as well as infrared and ultraviolet light, which cannot be seen. Used to treat both physical and emotional problems, Color Therapy may involve exposure to colored lights; Massages using color-saturated oils, contemplating and visualizing colors, even wearing colored clothing and eating colored foods.

The Miracles of Color Therapy

Dec 29th, 2009 | By Dee | Category: Color, Crystal Therapy

While most of us turn to modern medicine for answers to painful questions regarding illness, health and personal wellness, there are some of us who tend to look toward nature for long-term sustainable solutions that occasionally seem more logical and easy to implement. The ancient science and art of color therapy is one of several approaches to good health and is rapidly being recognized globally as a predominantly potent form of alternative medicine.

What is Color Therapy

Color Therapy or chromotherapy is  the ancient science and art of using the power of colors for restorative health and personal well-being. The ancient Egyptians believed that one of their gods, Thoth, was the divine originator of the method of healing with natural colors. Both the ancient Indians and the Greeks also used color to treat the weak and the infirm.

Alleviate Headaches With Crystal Healing

Dec 26th, 2009 | By Dee | Category: Color, Crystal Therapy, Featured Articles

When most people get a headache they reach straight for a bottle of aspirin, however aspirin isn’t the “miracle drug” some people claim it to be.

Among the list of side effects caused by aspirin are ulcers, heartburn, vomiting and nausea. That’s why many people are looking for a safer, natural alternative rather than using aspirin to relieve a headache.

There’s currently a lot of momentum behind the crystal healing method. Despite no real scientific studies in the field, many people report positive results after undergoing a session of crystal therapy.

It’s important to remember that a lack of understanding does not equal a lack of truth. From a purely results orientated point of view, crystal healing works.

Crystal healing practitioners theorize that headaches are a result of imbalanced energies within the chakras. The seven chakras are:

- Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)
- Third Eye Chakra (Ajna)
- Throat Chakra (Vishuddi)
- Heart Chakra (Anahata)
- Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura)
- Sacral Chakra (Swadhisthana)
- Root Chakra (Muladhara)

Nov 27th, 2009 | By Dee | Category: Color, Crystal Therapy

Any gemstone makes a beautiful holiday gift! There are some obvious, as well as some not so obvious choices I would like to mention, that can make a great gift as well as have great significance.

Chiastolite

The Cross Stonesign of devotion towards awareness and dispels negativity. It signifies both death and re-birth and helps one to understand the realization of immortality. It is used as a bridge for crossing over.

It helps one to assimilate during times of change. It provides insight to answers when problem solving. This powerful crystal balances ones perspective in both creativity and practicality. During illness, it helps to maintain spirituality, lessens Fever, balances blood flow, increases secretion of milk in nursing mothers and repairs chromosome damage.

When considering the use of a Diamond for healing purposes, one must ignore its monetary value and concentrate upon the stones unique relationship with energy. It is frequently combined with other Gems or Crystals. If used with an Aquamarine, a Diamond will increase the cleansing properties and mental soothing that Aquamarine helps to produce.

The Modern Revival of the Ancient Art of Crystal Healing

The Modern Revival of the Ancient Art of Crystal Healing

By Lisa Seelandt

Crystal Therapy is an ancient art, usually referred to as the laying-on of stones. Crystal Therapy was devised by the ancients to balance the chakras and transform the energy properties of the body, thereby resulting in a clear energy field. Crystal Therapy is a form of energy healing.

Many of us are familiar with the legend of the Continent of Atlantis. The Atlanteans were a race of highly skilled individuals. The Atlanteans inhabited a society rich with technological advancements, particularly in the areas of medicine, engineering, agriculture, and astronomy. The Atlanteans used Crystals as a healing and curative source. They believed that Crystals healed the auric body; healing the auric body would then lead to the natural healing of the physical body. The penetration of the auric body by the stones and Crystals initiated a connection between the energy of the crystal and the energy of the chakra. The theory states that by re-balancing the chakra energies a natural healing of the physical body would occur.

Reflexology and Color Therapy

Sep 2nd, 2009 | By Dee | Category: Reflexology

Reflexology and Color Therapy have their roots in the distant past. As individual therapies, they have tremendous therapeutic value. When used in conjunction with each other, they have shown their ability to both complement each other and accentuate the healing process.

The origin of Reflexology, or zone therapy as it was called, still remains a mystery. One theory, mentioned by Dr. Fitzgerald, in his book Zone Therapy, is that it originated from China some 5,000 years ago as a form of Pressure Point treatment. Dr. Fitzgerald was an ear, nose and throat specialist, and must be credited for his part in reviving Reflexology.

Another conjecture is that it began in Egypt. Evidence for this stems from an Egyptian tomb drawing dating back to 230BC. This drawing depicts four people. One person is being treated with foot massage and a second person with hand massage. Others credit its birth to the Incas. These were people of very ancient Peruvian civilisation, possibly reaching back to 1200BC. It is speculated that they passed their knowledge of zone therapy down to the North American Indians who, up to this present time, are still using this form of treatment.

Balancing the 11 Chakras With Color

Sep 1st, 2009 | By Dee | Category: Color, Crystal Therapy

Color is used in many forms to heal and aid the sick, diseased and distressed. As a color therapist I use the following color to balance the 11 chakras of the physical and energy body of the person. I always start with the heart chakra, the center of the human form and the seat of the soul. Here are the colors I use to balance the 11 chakras:

Heart Chakra: Green (4th) Green is the color of harmony and balance. It is good for tired nerves and it helps with the heart area. It will balance the emotions and bring about a feeling of calmness. Green is a good general healing color because it stimulates growth so it is good for helping heal broken bones, regret of tissue of all kinds. Green is a good color for Pregnant women to help create an atmosphere of serenity and calm. Too much green may create more negative energy if there is some already present in the person being treated.

Most Headaches result from Tension. Tension produces pain in the neck and shoulders resulting in constriction of the blood vessels and blood Circulation resulting in Headaches. Stress, guilt, fear, anger, Depression, and rage are all contributing factors to Tension Headaches.

Underlying health problems can also result in Headaches. Everything from sinusitis to nutritional imbalance, spinal misalignment to PMS, poor Circulation to TMJ are all culprits. Dreaming With Crystals

Sep 1st, 2009 | By Dee | Category: Color, Crystal Therapy

Dreams are the most important part of living. By tapping into them one can explore the waking world, and actually work through issues before they have even come to light.

There are two factors one must consider in dream work: remembering ones dreams and recording those dreams. I have had many clients tell me they could not remember their dreams, or that they do not dream. Everyone dreams, every night. How can one record what one cannot recall?

There is one method I believe works well. Before sleeping for the night, form your hand into a fist and hold it in the center of your chest. Close your eyes and say: I will remember my dreams when I wake up. Say this three times, once aloud and twice to yourself.

Once you begin recalling dreams, you can begin to record them. Purchase a journal, any kind will do. Some of my clients buy a notebook with an inspirational cover while others simply pick a small school notebook.

Crystal Healing for the Golden Age

Aug 31st, 2009 | By Dee | Category: Color, Crystal Therapy

Keep it Simple

All crystal healers develop their own style of healing. The reason people choose Crystal Healing can give an indication of the approach they might later adopt; some choose Crystal Healing because of their love of Crystals, some to enhance other disciplines, and some because of their connection to the power within Crystals. This initial impulse will often direct them towards the mass of information and advice commercially available.

The problem is that some of it is contradictory. So how does the novice healer, or someone who wants to experience Crystal Healing for themselves, make the right choice? I found that I needed to focus on three areas of development at the same time. A trinity if you like. It consisted of the practical: a diploma course.

The personal: developing my own intuition, discrimination and spiritual power. Lastly the esoteric; I visit a deep trance medium who is able to bring through a crystal teacher from the casual plane. All three levels were equally important, especially the personal development because without that I could easily have given my power away.

Crystal Healing FAQ

Aug 31st, 2009 | By Dee | Category: Color, Crystal Therapy

Crystals or Gemstones are potent sources of energy which can be used as an aid to healing. During a Crystal Healing therapy session, universal energy is channelled through the healer and this energy is magnified with the use of Crystals.

Each crystal has unique properties that deal with specific issues.

The Crystals used in healing are chosen, not by the healer, but by the client’s higher self. This is done by making a connection with the client using a pendulum and a method known as dowsing. There are many methods of healing with Crystals. Some, such as relieving a headache or toothache, can take as little as five minutes while full healings can take between 60-90 minutes or longer.

What can Crystal Healing heal?

Essentially, Crystal Healing helps you heal yourself. This is not a quick fix or an alternative solution to conventional medicine but a complimentary therapy. Crystal Healing works with physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual problems with a view to removing the dis-ease and making you at ease with yourself. This in turn will bring relief from physical pain and help you move your life forward.

Healing With Sound Vibrations

Aug 12th, 2009 | By Dee | Category: Sound Therapy

Everything in this universe is made of energy; it is the essence of life itself. Science is only just beginning to speculate as to the immense ramifications of this understanding, through mystics have recognized and spoken of this energy force down through the ages. You might even remember hearing it referred to at various times, as for instance in the movie Star Wars when Luke was told, “Let the Force be with You”.

As of recent times this force has been termed the Universal Energy Field. We, as human beings are part of this energetic system; having what is know as the Human Energy Field which utilizes various means of receiving, moving, transferring, communicating, and integrating these energetic vibrational frequencies throughout our body.

Our Human Energy Field is comprised of three systems:

1, the major and minor chakras of the body, 2, The subtle energy fields or energy bodies that surround the physical body, and 3, the energy meridians within the physical frequencies to the tissues, organs and other systems throughout the body. Our health and vibrancy is determined by our own individual access to, and assimilation of this Universal Energy Field, the ease of movment with which this energy travels, and overall balance these three systems.

Balancing Body Energy

Aug 10th, 2009 | By Dee | Category: Energy Medicine, Featured Articles

The energy of your body will not be balanced and free flowing if you do not have good emotional balance, good physical health, and good relationships with your surroundings and yourself.

Almost no one is ever perfectly balanced. If you could do this, you would be able to rise from the dead, have a body transformed into a cosmic molecular structure and commune with the gods as an equal. Don’t despair, this has been done.

Begin at the beginning. Get to know the feel of your partner’s energy. Use hand-to-hand and switch hands to see if you can tell the difference between polarities. Touch energies (not bodies) and move within that energy to learn its character.

When you’re satisfied or have given up, or see the raven hanging around, run the full-body test. Get as naked as both of you comfortably can, and use your hands to test and map the energy of your partner. If you want, draw out a figure and mark bad spots so you can remember later. Got them? Front and back? Good!

Healing Meditation Using the Chakras System

Aug 8th, 2009 | By Dee | Category: Meditation & Prayer

When the body, mind, and spirit are working harmoniously together, the results are awareness, well being, and a balanced thought. In fact, nothing can beat the feeling of being healed on all levels. This can be achieved through healing meditation.

Healing meditation is done to reprogram the negative thoughts that cause diseases or illnesses to become positive desires in achieving wholeness and health. Your perception of the image does not really matter at all. Most people are seeing themselves through the eyes of their minds. Some just imagine the ongoing process happens in all parts of their body. Others may simply accept the fact that whatever they imagine also happens to them in reality. Regardless of whichever category you belong, you participate actively in the process of healing. This is the most important thing you could do.
